. . . to the home of Streetwise Pies. We are a Boulder startup that produces South African-style, handheld, savory pies. Our pies are sold at coffee shops, bars, breweries, golf clubs, gyms and other foodservice outlets. We’re all about good food, not junk food. Our original recipe has travelled with us all the way from Cape Town. Natural and wholesome ingredients, that’s all we use - no, seriously. Take our chicken for example: happy, veggie-fed, no antibiotics ever chickens from Red Bird Farms, Colorado. Our pies are packed with flavor and made with pride. We’re no frills, just a really good pie in a paper sleeve that just so happens to be the perfect on-the-go meal for those who care about what they eat.

. . . know a thing or two about chicken pies. Hardly a day goes by without a pie. Corner shops, coffee shops, food-to-go shops all stock pies. All day. All night. It’s the perfect anytime meal that fits neatly in your hand. Australia, New Zealand, even England, agree. So did our local focus groups. What’s more, the pie is power food for cyclists, golfers between the ninth and tenth, and skiers on their way to the back bowls. That’s why we think it’s time to start a trend, this is Boulder after all.

A Chicken Pie

. . . is nothing without chicken, so here’s what you need to know: most US chickens do drugs. Some do it around the clock (‘commodity’ chicken), some do it occasionally (‘antibiotic-free’ chicken), some never—that’s ours. A lot of chickens are fed protein including fish, eww. But our chickens follow a gluten-free, veggie-only diet. Nothing but love is added to our meat. So, go on, grab and enjoy a Streetwise Pie guilt-free knowing you’ve paid for top-notch and responsibly sourced food.
